Third Annual DC PHP Conference & Expo Registration Opens
The DC PHP Developers Group recently announced the third annual DC PHP Conference & Expo scheduled for June 2-4, 2008, at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. Join hundreds of PHP practitioners, business managers, and government officials from around the world in the exchange of ideas and solutions for building a better web application infrastructure. DC PHP Developers’ Group is committed to expanding PHP's deployment in the Washington, DC Region.

Get ready for three days of exceptional presentations and outstanding networking events. Previously held in November, DC PHP is excited to bring the PHP community a bigger and better conference in 2008 with the move to late spring.
The DC PHP Conference looks forward to expanding the content offered at DC PHP to include not only PHP in the government sector, but also cover both technical and business aspects of PHP. DC PHP will include tracks pertaining to business cases, best practices, the art of PHP, PHP applications, PHP in the enterprise, and Open Source.
"The DC PHP Conference brings tremendous energy to the PHP community," said Robyn Wyrick, president of DC PHP Developers Group. "But the thing I most value is the growing local developers' community. You have to remember, the single largest IT buyer in the world is the U.S. Federal Government. The local community of programmers is a driving engine for PHP development in this area, and a force like that in Washington can leverage change to the whole landscape of Information Technology.”
